The Digital Industry Technologies Department was founded in 2019 and is part of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. It aims to become a point of reference in education, research and the development of the 4th Industrial Revolution, internationally defined as Industry 4.0. The department's ambition is not solely aimed in creating graduates that are able to be employed within the modern Greek (and International) Industry but also educate them on future professions that will make a difference within the Greek Industry.
The Department offers in-depth classes on information technology and telecommunication technologies while focusing on the modern digital industry and its administration.
Undergraduate studies are structured by two fields of study:
Digital Industry Systems
Digital Industry Administration
Both fields constitute a specialized framework aimed at providing the tools and knowledge to further their proffesional development
The Department's education is structured in a sequence of core courses, which are then followed by compulsory elective courses and finally a set of elective courses.
